Selling season, day and monthly passes

Price the three pass terms for a season, and know which one your league is allowed to sell.

Overview

A pass is what lets a fan watch your season's streamed games. It is sold per season — one listing per season, with as many priced tiers on it as you want — from the Season Tickets tab of the season you are running.

Each tier carries a term: how much of the season that price buys. There are three.

Term What the holder gets
Whole season Every streamed game of the season, from purchase to the last game. Also admission at the gate.
Single day Every streamed game on one day, which the fan picks at checkout. Stream only.
Subscription (monthly) Every streamed game while they keep paying. Bills once a month and stops at the end of the season. Stream only.

Every league can sell whole-season passes. Single day and Subscription are switches StatsCentral turns on per league, so if you have not asked for them you will see them in the form but you will not be able to pick them. When a term is greyed out below explains what to do.

Start by opening the season you want to sell for and going to its Season Tickets tab. If there is no listing yet, create one first — the Term select does not appear until there is something to price.

The three terms

Whole season

One payment, the whole season. This is the pass every league can sell and the one most leagues lead with.

It is also the only term that is admission at the venue. A whole-season pass can be scanned at the gate; the other two cannot.

Single day

One payment, one game day. The fan chooses which day at checkout, from the days your season actually has games scheduled — so a day with no fixture cannot be bought by mistake.

The day is fixed at purchase and does not move. If a game on that day is rescheduled, the pass still covers the day it was sold for.

Single day is stream only. It is never admitted at the gate.

Subscription (monthly)

The fan pays once a month and keeps watching while they do. The plan is set up at purchase to run to the end of your season and then stop on its own — it is not an open-ended subscription that rolls into next season.

Two things follow from that:

  • The number of monthly payments is fixed at the moment of sale, from the season end date as it stood then. Moving the season's end date afterwards does not change how many payments a running plan collects — see Rules worth knowing before you sell below.
  • There is no self-serve cancellation for the fan. If a subscriber wants to stop, contact StatsCentral and we will stop the plan at the payment provider so no further months are collected. The pass itself is left untouched, so their access runs to the end of the month they have already paid for.

Subscription is stream only. It is never admitted at the gate.

Creating a tier

  1. Open the season and go to the Season Tickets tab.
  2. On Ticket Tiers, fill in Name — this is what the fan sees on the pass page, so name it the way you would say it out loud (Season Pass, Saturday Pass, Monthly).
  3. Pick a Term.
  4. Enter a Price. The field is labelled with the season's currency — Price (PHP) for a PHP season. On a subscription tier this is the amount collected each month, not the total for the season, and the label says so when you edit the tier afterwards.
  5. Optionally set Description, Capacity and Max per order.
  6. Save.

Two things the form decides for you:

  • Max per order is fixed at 1 for Single day and Subscription tiers. The form says so where the field would be. A stream pass is tied to one account, so buying three of them grants exactly what buying one grants.
  • Currency comes from the season. Tiers cannot price in a different currency from the season they belong to.

Add a tier per term you want to offer. They appear on the fan's pass page grouped by term, in the order Whole season → Single day → Subscription.

When a term is greyed out

A term you cannot sell is still shown in the Term select, disabled, with the reason underneath it. There are two different reasons, and they are fixed in two different places.

The term is not enabled for your league

Daily passes aren't enabled for this league — contact StatsCentral to turn them on.

This is a per-league setting on our side. Email or message StatsCentral and ask for it; there is nothing to change in League OS. The same sentence appears for subscriptions when they are the term that is switched off.

The season does not price in PHP

Monthly subscriptions bill through Xendit, which settles in PHP only — this season prices in USD.

The last part names whatever currency your season is actually priced in.

Monthly plans are collected through Xendit, which settles in Philippine pesos. A season priced in any other currency cannot sell one, and turning the league setting on will not unblock it — the currency is the blocker.

Fix this by setting the season's currency to PHP before you create the tier, if that is genuinely what your league bills in. If it is not, sell whole-season and single-day passes instead.

Rules worth knowing before you sell

  • A tier's term locks once someone has bought it. The Term select is replaced by plain text reading "can't change once passes are sold". Re-scoping access people have already paid for is not an edit, so if you priced it wrong, deactivate that tier and add a new one.
  • One active subscription tier per season. Two live monthly plans against one season means a fan can end up billed twice, so the form refuses a second one. Deactivate the old tier before adding a repriced one.
  • Moving the season's end date does not repair live subscriptions. The number of monthly payments was fixed when each plan was sold. Shorten the season and those plans keep billing for months the season no longer has. Lengthen it and running plans do follow the new end date month by month, but only for the payments they were sold with — a subscriber never gets months beyond what their plan was set up to collect. StatsCentral is alerted when this happens, but tell us as well if you know subscribers are affected — the fix is manual on our side.
  • Deactivating a term stops new sales only. Passes already sold keep working, and live subscriptions bill to their planned end.
  • A pass is tied to a StatsCentral account. The fan has to be signed in to buy, which is how we recognise them when they come to watch.

What the fan sees

Your league's Passes page lists every term you have on sale as its own section, with the price and one line on what it covers. Terms that are not admission at the gate are marked stream only there, so nobody buys a day pass expecting to walk into the venue.

On a game page, the How to watch panel shows a single row with the cheapest way in and names which term that price is for — "from PHP 100.00 · day pass". It is deliberately one row; the full menu is one click away on the Passes page.

Checkout happens on the marketplace. A fan buying a Single day pass picks their day there.

Checking who bought what

The Pass Holders tab is where the sales land.

  • When you sell more than one term, a Sold by term breakdown sits above the table with the count and revenue for each, so a ₱100 day pass is never silently counted beside a ₱1,500 season pass. Terms that are stream only are labelled there too.
  • Each row shows its Term and what it Covers — the day for a day pass, or Until Dec 20, 2026 for a subscription. A subscriber whose access has lapsed is marked Lapsed.
  • Export CSV carries the same Term and Covers / Access Until columns.

The Game Attendance tab counts gate scans only. Day and monthly passes are watched online and are never scanned, so they count zero there by design — the tab says so when you have any on sale. That zero is not a missing number.

If a subscriber's payment fails, nothing is cancelled and no money is taken back: their access simply runs out at the end of the period they last paid for, and picks up again if a later payment clears.
