Where did my coaching tools go?
Coaching tools moved out of the Member Portal and into Club OS. Here's where each one now lives.
Overview
If you coach or manage a team, the tools you used to reach through the Member Portal now live in Club OS. Nothing was removed and no history was lost — the same rosters, stats, assessments, attendance records, and messages are all there, in a different app.
The Member Portal is now for players and parents/guardians only. If you are also a player or a parent at a club, that side of your account is unchanged.
Where each tool went
| What you did in the Member Portal | Where it is now |
|---|---|
| Teams list and team pages | Club OS → Teams |
| Recording a stat entry for a player | Club OS → Teams → open a player → Stats tab |
| Recording an assessment | Club OS → Teams → open a player → Assessments tab |
| Marking attendance at a session | Club OS → Events → open the session |
| Posting to a team message board | Club OS → Teams → open a team → Message board |
| Viewing the club's invoices (managers) | Club OS → Invoices |
Old Member Portal links still work — they forward you to the matching page in Club OS, so existing bookmarks and links in older emails will not break.
Getting to Club OS
Sign in as you always have. If your only membership is a staff one, you land in Club OS automatically, on the club you work at.
If you are already in the Member Portal, use the app switcher — the grid icon in the top bar — and pick Club OS. The same switcher carries a Member Portal tile to get back.
What is different
A few things behave differently now that these tools sit alongside the club's own admin pages:
- You only see the teams you are rostered on. The rest of the club is not visible to you.
- Assessments are always recorded in your name. You can no longer record one on another staff member's behalf.
- Attendance registers are scoped to your players. On a club-wide session you'll see the players from your teams rather than the entire club.
- Managers read the message board but no longer post to it. Posting is for coaches and assistant coaches.
Troubleshooting
- Club OS asks you to create a club. You are not meant to create one — this means your staff membership is not active. Ask the club to check your member status.
- A team you coach is missing. Ask a club admin to confirm you have a roster entry on that team.
- You cannot find your own schedule or invoices as a member. Those are still in the Member Portal — switch apps using the grid icon in the top bar.
