Recording and reviewing stat entries
How to record measurements against a member, view their history, use filters, read the progress chart, and delete entries.
What is a stat entry?
A stat entry is a single recorded measurement for a player or coach member — for example, a sprint time of 9.81 seconds on a specific date, or a jump height of 72 cm during a pre-season fitness test. Each entry belongs to a stat type (the metric being measured) and is stored against a specific member profile.
Over time, entries build a performance history you can filter and chart to see how a member is progressing across a season or career.
Recording a new entry
-
Open the member's profile from Club OS → Members.
-
In the Stats section, click + Add entry. A slide-in panel will open.
-
Fill in the fields:
Field Required Description Stat type Yes The metric being recorded. Only active stat types for your club appear here. Value Yes The measurement. Must be numeric for Number, Time, and Distance types; free text for Text types. Date Yes The date the measurement was taken. Defaults to today. Session No An optional label for the training session or event (e.g. "Week 3 Training", "Pre-season test"). Notes No Free-form context — conditions, observations, or any detail worth preserving alongside the number. -
Click Record entry. The panel closes and the new entry appears in the member's stat history.
Note: Stat entries can only be recorded for player and coach members. Parent/guardian members do not have a stat history.
Viewing stat history
The member profile shows the three most recent entries in the Stats section. Click View all → to open the full Stat History page for that member.
On the Stat History page you can:
- Filter by stat type — select a specific metric from the dropdown to narrow the table to that type only.
- Filter by date range — set a From and/or To date to view entries within a specific window. Either field can be used alone.
Filters apply instantly as you change them — no submit button is needed.
The progress chart
When you select a specific stat type in the filter, a line chart appears above the table showing how the member's values have changed over time. The chart is available for Number, Time, and Distance unit types, and requires at least two data points to render.
Text-type stats do not produce a chart because their values are free-form and cannot be plotted numerically.
If "All types" is selected, or fewer than two entries match the current filters, the chart is hidden and only the table is shown.
Deleting an entry
Each row in the stat history table has a Delete button. Clicking it opens a confirmation modal showing the entry's date, stat type, and value. Confirm to permanently remove the entry — this cannot be undone.
If you need to correct a value, delete the incorrect entry and record a new one with the right value.
