Creating standing pages
Build evergreen pages like About, Sponsors, and Rules that live alongside your league's news.
Overview
Pages are evergreen sections for your league — About, Sponsors, Rules, Contact — the content that doesn't change week to week. Unlike articles, pages aren't a dated feed; they're standing links on your public presence.
Reach them from Content in the sidebar, then the Pages button on the Articles list.
Creating a page
- On the Pages list, click New page.
- Enter a Title (for example, About the league).
- Optionally set a Slug — the URL segment. Leave it blank to have one generated from the title. Slugs use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens, and must be unique within your league.
- Write the Body in the rich-text editor.
- Choose the Channels the page should appear on — see choosing publishing channels.
- Click Create page.
Pages follow the same draft → published → archived lifecycle as articles. A page is a draft until you Publish it.
Where published pages appear
Published pages on the public page channel show up as standing links in the Pages section of your league's public news area, so visitors can jump straight to About or Sponsors.
Edge cases / gotchas
- Two leagues can reuse the same slug. Uniqueness is per league, so
aboutis fine even if another league already uses it. - Draft until published. A new page is never public until you publish it.
- Same safety valve as articles. If StatsCentral staff take a page down, you'll see the reason on the page and can't re-publish it until it's restored.
